Jaipur, 26 November:
The ‘Global Solar Expo – Rajasthan 2025’ opened with great enthusiasm today at the Rajasthan International Centre. Organized by EQ International Magazine and C2Z – Solar & Decarbonization Marketplace, this two-day expo was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Energy Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Heeralal Nagar.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary, Energy Department, and Shri Rohit Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL), as special guests.
Addressing the inaugural session, Energy Minister Shri Heeralal Nagar said:
"Rajasthan has already emerged as India’s No. 1 solar state, and now the state is attracting large-scale investments in solar-hybrid, storage, and green hydrogen projects."
Principal Secretary, Energy Department, Shri Ajitabh Sharma stated:
"With progressive policies, large solar parks, and state-of-the-art grid infrastructure, Rajasthan is rapidly moving towards becoming the nation’s largest green-energy hub."
The very first day of the expo witnessed a massive turnout of industry leaders, investors, policymakers, technology experts, and startups. With around 2,000 visitors, more than 100 exhibiting companies, and over 75 speakers, this year’s expo has become the largest renewable energy platform ever hosted in Rajasthan.
Suryakon Conference Day 1: Intense Dialogue on New Technologies, Policy and Investment
On the first day of the Suryakon Conference, national and international experts discussed key topics including PM-KUSUM, PM Surya Ghar, rooftop solar, hybrid projects, RTC model, FDRE, BESS, storage solutions, green financing, and green hydrogen.
Speakers highlighted that in the coming years, storage and hybrid models will form the backbone of renewable energy, and Rajasthan is positioned at the center of this transformation.
100+ Companies Including Adani and Polycab Showcase High-Tech Innovations
Leading companies such as INA Solar, Navitas, Gautam Solar, Adani, Polycab, Solis, Sova, Redren, RPSG Group, Solitek, and POM Power are showcasing advanced solutions in solar modules, inverters, battery storage, EV charging, smart-grid technologies, and clean-tech innovation.
Awards Ceremony Tomorrow: Top 100 Solar Achievers to Be Felicitated
On the second and final day of the expo, Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Shri Premchand Bairwa will honor the Top 100 achievers in the solar sector. Former MP Shri Ramcharan Bohra will also grace the occasion.
