DGP Rajiv Kumar Sharma Holds Inspirational Dialogue with 2024 Batch Probationer IAS Officers

 


Jaipur, 12 December: On Friday, DGP Rajiv Kumar Sharma engaged with the 2024 batch probationer Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers at the Police Headquarters, emphasizing modern, responsive, and citizen-centric governance.

Speaking to the officers, DGP Sharma said, “The world is changing rapidly—challenges are evolving, and so are the solutions. The future of administration rests on three pillars: good governance, transparency, and technology.”



He highlighted key aspects of effective administration, including law-and-order coordination, disaster management, cyber security, social sensitivity, and strategies for public engagement. The DGP also stressed the responsible use of social media, ethical conduct, and leadership skills as essential for effective governance.

“You are the new generation of administrators who will guide development, good governance, and sensitive administration,” he added. “Every decision should prioritize honesty, empathy, and public interest.”

Guidance from Senior Officers

The session also featured detailed presentations from senior police officers:

  • DIG CB Deepak Bhargava explained the structure, functioning, and administrative support mechanisms of the Rajasthan Police organization.
  • IG SSB Anshuman Bhomia highlighted the importance of DM–SP coordination, collaborative roles in law-and-order management, and seamless cooperation between district and police administration.
  • IG Law and Order Anil Tank shared perspectives on administrative strategies in Rajasthan’s unique contexts, including geographic challenges, tribal regions, border districts, and socio-cultural diversity.

During the interactive session, probationer IAS officers posed questions, which were addressed with practical solutions by the senior officials.
