Jaipur, 21 November. The State-Level Police Conference 2025 was held on Friday at the Rajasthan Police Academy under the theme “Policing with Excellence – The Road Ahead.” The event, conducted in both offline and online modes, witnessed extensive discussions on modern policing, upcoming legal reforms, AI-driven challenges, and road safety.
Inaugurating the conference, DGP Training & Traffic Anil Paliwal emphasized the need for a balance between technological advancements and human-centric policing. Citing a verse from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita—“Ichchati–Janati–Karoti” (desire–knowledge–action)—he highlighted its relevance in modern police leadership.
DG Home Guards Malini Agrawal underscored that criminals are rapidly adopting new technologies, making it essential for police to devise zone-specific strategies and conduct regional conferences to address localized challenges.
Revolution in Justice Delivery with New Criminal Laws
During the first session, IG Intelligence Prafful Kumar elaborated on the major provisions of the new criminal laws.
He stated that the new system emphasizes justice over punishment, introducing fixed timelines for all procedural stages.
