Roshni 2025: Devotees Learned the Path of Spiritual Healing, Danced in Devotion During Sanatan Sankirtan

Jaipur.
The satsang hall of Thikana Shri Govind Dev Ji Temple was packed on Sunday as the prestigious event “Roshni 2025: Healing Through Spirituality & Sanatan Sankirtan” created a historic and spiritually vibrant atmosphere. The program, enriched with spiritual energy, kirtan, health awareness, and social service, was graced by the presence of representatives from over 100 prominent organizations of Rajasthan, making the event even more distinguished.

Dr. Sunil Dhand: Spirituality and Health Are Deeply Linked

The event’s organizer and renowned diabetes specialist Dr. Sunil Dhand highlighted the importance of health in the Indian way of life. He said,
“Our fasts, festivals, traditions, culture, and religion — all place health at the highest pedestal. Our sages conveyed centuries ago that a healthy body is the foundation of a complete life, devotion, worship, meditation, and pilgrimage. Only when we are healthy can we truly practice spirituality and fulfill all duties of life.”

Expressing concern over the rising cases of diabetes, Dr. Dhand said,
“Diabetes has now spread like an epidemic. It is a ‘slow death’ that weakens the body from within for years. We must not let it take control of our lives. With timely lifestyle changes, mindful eating habits, daily discipline, and positive thinking, diabetes can definitely be defeated.”

He urged the audience to adopt yoga, meditation, balanced diet, adequate sleep, and positive mindset, describing these as the real “spiritual healing practices” deeply rooted in ancient Indian traditions.
