Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari Inaugurates Three-Day “Melody of Colors” Art Exhibition Watercolour Emotions Beyond Imagination: Diya Kumari

 


Jaipur, January 17.

Saturday proved to be a special day for the art world as Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Tourism, Art and Culture, Ms Diya Kumari, inaugurated the three-day solo art exhibition “Melody of Colors” by renowned watercolour artist Dr Sushma Mahajan. The exhibition is being held at the Alankar Art Gallery, Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur.


After closely observing nearly 60 watercolour artworks displayed at the exhibition, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari interacted with the media and praised Dr Mahajan’s artistic excellence. She described the artworks as “truly outstanding and extraordinary,” stating that the emotions brought to life through watercolours are beyond imagination.


Expressing her admiration, Diya Kumari said that Dr Sushma Mahajan’s watercolour paintings are intricately detailed and enriched with vibrant colours that beautifully represent human emotions. “The finesse, depth and sensitivity reflected in these artworks showcase exceptional artistic mastery,” she added.



The Deputy Chief Minister further remarked that Dr Sushma Mahajan is a highly accomplished and master artist in watercolour art, whose creations stand out not only at the state and national level but also on the global art platform. She said that such creative excellence is playing a significant role in promoting Rajasthan’s rich art and cultural heritage across the country and abroad.

It is noteworthy that the three-day exhibition will remain open for art lovers until January 19, and can be visited daily from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. The exhibition features around 60 watercolour artworks, including 22 newly created paintings specially prepared for this exhibition. Select artworks previously exhibited in Paris, Jaipur, and New Delhi have also been showcased.
