A Grand Beginning of Blitzschlag 2026 at MNIT Jaipur

 


Jaipur, 6 February 2026:

Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur’s three-day annual cultural festival Blitzschlag 2026 commenced on Thursday with a vibrant and energetic opening. The festival has witnessed participation from over 40 teams representing IITs, NITs, other CFTIs, and state universities and colleges from across the country.

Day 1 of Blitzschlag 2026 began with its flagship events, Panache (Fashion Competition) and Tamasha (Nukkad Natak), which attracted massive crowds at the Central Lawn, SAC Lawn, and Open Air Theatre. The events showcased exceptional talent, vibrant themes, and intense competition. Performances were evaluated by a panel of distinguished judges, adding prestige and excitement to the opening day of the fest.


Following the flagship competitions, the audience was treated to an engaging stand-up comedy performance by Mohit Morani, whose sharp wit and humorous storytelling kept the crowd thoroughly entertained. The evening concluded on a high note with an electrifying DJ Night by DJ Kunal at the Central Lawn, where students gathered in large numbers, creating an energetic and unforgettable atmosphere.


Alongside these major attractions, a wide range of engaging activities were organized throughout the day. Dicey Dares, conducted by the Travel and Heritage Visit Club, and Jute Art on Bottle by the Creative Arts Club added an artistic flair to the festival. The Open Air Theatre came alive with energetic performances during Breakfree by the Dance Club, while the Debate Club hosted a stimulating British Parliamentary Debate.


Intellectual and fun-filled events such as Filmy Funda by the Film Making Club and Quiz Bowl by Think India kept the competitive spirit alive. The Mass and Media Club attracted large audiences with innovative events including Squid Game, Upside Down, and MNIT’s Live. The Entrepreneurship Development Cell’s IPL Auction generated strategic excitement through a simulated bidding experience.

The Photography Club showcased creative visual storytelling through Moments and Beyond the Lens, while the Poetry Club’s Open Mic Competition provided a powerful platform for creative expression. The Language and Electoral Literacy Club also organized an engaging Youth Parliament, promoting awareness and dialogue on democratic values among students.

With seamless coordination, enthusiastic participation, and an electrifying atmosphere, Day 1 of Blitzschlag 2026 successfully set a high benchmark for the remaining days of the festival, promising even greater excitement, creativity, and celebration ahead.
