Jaipur: The state-of-the-art Chirayu Cancer Institute was inaugurated today at Chirayu Hospital on Kalwad Road by Jagadguru Nimbarkacharya Shri Shyam Sharan Devacharya Ji Maharaj. During the ceremony, the latest indigenous linear accelerator machine for radiation therapy was also consecrated.
The hospital management welcomed the spiritual leader by washing his feet in a traditional ceremony. Dr. Manoj Chaudhary, Chairman of Chirayu Hospital, delivered the welcome address, while Director Manju Chaudhary and Dr. Nikki Punia honored Maharaj Ji by draping him with a ceremonial shawl.
Event coordinator Sarveshwar Sharma stated that Shri Ji Maharaj, in his address, expressed happiness over the hospital’s initiative and highlighted that the indigenous machine will make cancer treatment accessible even to the underprivileged. He described it as a “lifeline” for people across the Marwar region.
Legislator Swami Balamukundacharya praised the hospital for providing world-class healthcare facilities near the holy site and highlighted that free treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme is a great relief for the common public.
Chairman Dr. Manoj Chaudhary added, “This institute will bring much-needed relief to cancer patients. With Shri Ji Maharaj’s blessings, its inauguration is a matter of pride for all of us.”
The event was attended by hospital directors Dr. Vijay Khechad, Anita Khechad, Ghummantu Mahanagar Coordinator Rakesh Kumar Sharma, spiritual healer Acharya Tarun Kumar, social worker Praveen Sharma, numerologist Mahan Sharma, Jat Mahasabha leader Rajararam Meel, hundreds of local representatives, Nimbark sect followers, and hospital staff. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of Mahaprasad.
