Sustainable AI’ International Symposium Concludes at Shankara Group; Grand Launch of Global Hackathon and SAYIT-2026



Jaipur (Kukas), 27 February 2026: A remarkable confluence of technology, innovation, and culture was witnessed at Shankara Group of Institutions, where the two-day International Symposium on ‘Sustainable AI’ concluded successfully, alongside the grand inauguration of the National Youth Festival ‘SAYIT-2026’ and the Shankara Global Hackathon.



The Hackathon Dome was formally inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Satish Chandra Dubey. Interacting with startups and young innovators, he emphasised that education is a priceless asset that grows when shared. Referring to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he stated that India’s influence has now reached more than 40 countries globally. He highlighted that institutions providing education to lakhs and generating employment for thousands are the true foundation of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India).






The Minister also underlined the importance of character building and social harmony alongside technological advancement, stating that innovation must be aligned with national development and societal progress.






Global Dialogue on ‘Green AI’ and Sustainable Innovation

During the valedictory session, Chairman Dr Sant Kumar Choudhary articulated the vision of ‘Green AI,’ stressing that technological intelligence becomes meaningful only when it remains environmentally responsible. Over the two days, experts from the United States, Europe, Nepal, and Bangladesh presented research papers and shared insights on the role of AI in sustainable development.







Academic and International Participation

Vice Chancellors from Rajasthan Technical University (RTU-Kota), MBM University (MBM-Jodhpur), and Bikaner Technical University (BTU-Bikaner) graced the occasion and encouraged participants.




With the launch of the Shankara Global Hackathon, young innovators from across regions began showcasing AI-driven startup ideas aimed at solving real-world challenges. Russian media professional Ms Konstantin Trop Lo was also specially felicitated during the event for her distinguished contribution.



Grand Finale and Award Ceremony on 28 February

The two-day event will formally conclude on 28 February 2026 with a grand award ceremony, where winners of the Shankara Global Hackathon will be announced. The winning teams will be recognised for presenting innovative AI-based solutions addressing future challenges.

The closing ceremony will also feature a cultural evening, celebrating creativity and youth talent. According to the institute’s management, several distinguished dignitaries are expected to attend.

The overarching vision of the event remains clear — to integrate technological innovation with social harmony and youth empowerment, contributing meaningfully to the mission of building a “Viksit Bharat.”
