Seminar in Jaipur Highlights Latest Amendments and Updates in Companies Act, 2013

 


Jaipur: The Jaipur Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) organized a comprehensive seminar on recent regulatory changes and latest updates in the Companies Act, 2013. The event was held at a hotel on Tonk Road and witnessed participation from a large number of company secretaries, students, corporate professionals, and industry representatives.

Chairman of the Jaipur Chapter, CS Sumit Kumar Sheoran, stated that the primary objective of the seminar was to apprise participants of recent amendments, evolving compliance requirements, and their practical implications, enabling professionals to stay updated and effectively implement regulatory changes in their work.

The seminar commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by ICSI President Pawan G. Chandak. Former ICSI President Manish Gupta attended the event as the Guest of Honour. An interactive session with the President followed, where participants engaged in discussions and sought clarifications on various aspects of company law.

The technical sessions covered key aspects of the Companies Act, 2013 in detail. In the first session, Rahul Parsarampuria elaborated on recent regulatory changes and compliance-related issues. The second session was addressed by Vinit Chaudhary, who discussed the latest updates, legal provisions, and their impact on corporate governance practices.

A panel discussion was also आयोजित focusing on annual filings, other statutory compliance requirements, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and software tools in corporate processes. The panel featured Manoj Maheshwari, Sandeep Jain, Divesh Goyal, and Jatin Singhal, who shared their insights and addressed queries from participants.



Experts emphasized the importance of staying updated with evolving regulatory frameworks in a dynamic corporate environment. They also highlighted how AI-driven and digital tools are transforming compliance processes by making them more efficient, accurate, and transparent.
