Jaipur. In a grand ceremony held at Patrika Gate, Jawahar Circle, Jaipur, the poster of the upcoming mega cultural event “Aapno Ghoomar-2026” was officially unveiled by Sadbhavana Parivar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from organizers, women representatives, and members of the cultural community.
Manoj Pandey, President of Sadbhavana Parivar, informed that on 1 August 2026, Jaipur will host a historic cultural celebration where 10,000 women will perform Ghoomar together in an attempt to create a World Record. He said that Ghoomar is the pride of Rajasthan and this initiative aims to showcase the state’s rich cultural heritage on a global platform.
He further stated that the event is not only about dance and culture but also about empowering women. Along with the Ghoomar presentation, women participants will also receive self-defense training to promote confidence and awareness.
The poster launch ceremony was attended by Shivkanta Pandey (Director, Sadbhavana Parivar), Anjali Sisodiya, Chaman Vijay, Aarti Mathur, Pratima Bhardwaj, Muskan Parwani, Sujata Sharma, Meena Singhal, Preeti Jain, Neha Gandhi, Meenakshi Jain, Kirti Sharma, Sapna Jain, Daulat Sharma, Jyoti Gupta, Kavita, Ankita Mishra and several other dignitaries.
The choreography team including Sonu Kumawat, Dipali Gupta, Seema Sethi, Vishal Kataria, Pooja Dabai, Sonu Malhotra and Rohit Sharma also expressed their commitment to making the event a grand success.
Speaking on the occasion, Manoj Pandey said, “Aapno Ghoomar is not just a dance event, but a celebration of women empowerment, culture, and confidence. On 1 August, Jaipur will showcase the strength and pride of Rajasthan to the world.”
