Jaipur, May 7, 2026.
Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, designated as the Sender Higher Education Institution (HEI) for Rajasthan under the Yuva Sangam Phase VI programme, organized an Orientation Programme and Flag-off Ceremony for 50 carefully selected young delegates from across Rajasthan on Wednesday.
The delegation will embark on a week-long educational and cultural exchange visit to the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Dharwad, Karnataka — the Receiver HEI — from May 8 to May 15, 2026. Similarly, MNIT Jaipur will host 50 youth delegates selected by IIIT Dharwad in Rajasthan from June 5 to June 12, 2026.
The 50 delegates, selected from institutions across different regions of Rajasthan, represent a diverse mix of undergraduate students, postgraduate scholars, doctoral researchers, and off-campus youth. The selection reflects inclusivity across gender, background, district, and academic disciplines, embodying the true spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”
During the eight-day immersive visit to Karnataka, the delegates will engage with the 5 Ps of the Yuva Sangam framework — Paryatan (Tourism), Parampara (Traditions), Pragati (Progress), Prodyogiki (Technology), and Paraspar Sampark (People-to-People Connect).
The itinerary includes campus orientation, cultural exchange programmes, industrial and institutional visits, sports interactions, local sightseeing, and a Buddy System aimed at building lasting cross-cultural friendships.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, MNIT Jaipur Director Prof. N. P. Padhy said that the initiative reflects India’s vision of a connected, culturally rich, and progressive youth force that will contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
As part of the programme, delegates will also document their experiences through an essay series titled “My Yuva Sangam Story: Experiencing National Integration in Diversity,” contributing to a national repository of youth voices and experiences.
