Questions Raised Over Grants and Land Use in the Name of Cow Welfare, Demand for Special Audit Intensifies Allegations of Irregularities Against Pinjrapole Gaushala Management; Calls for Independent Investigation into Land, Donations, and Cow Welfare Activities

Jaipur: Shri Pinjrapole Gaushala, located on Tonk Road in the Sanganer area of Jaipur, has once again come under scrutiny over alleged irregularities related to government grants, land use, and the utilization of donated materials meant for cow welfare. Social activists, legal experts, and people associated with cow protection activities have demanded an independent and transparent investigation into the entire matter.

According to available information, around 850 bighas of land in Dausa district and nearly 293 bighas in Jaipur are reportedly registered in the name of the gaushala. Allegations suggest that despite possessing such a large amount of land, only around 500 cows in Dausa and approximately 2,500 cows in Jaipur are currently being maintained.

Cow welfare activists argue that if the available land is properly utilized for green fodder cultivation, cattle feed production, and organic farming, gaushalas can become financially self-reliant and reduce their dependence on government grants.

Serious allegations have also been raised regarding the commercial use of fodder and other materials donated for cow welfare. It is alleged that fodder is being sold to visitors coming to the gaushala premises and that fodder sale contracts are being given commercially. Reports suggest that the fodder sale contract is awarded for nearly Rs 30 lakh.

Questions have also been raised regarding the use of Surabhi Sadan and Satsang Bhawan, which were reportedly constructed with support from donors. Allegations claim that these facilities are being used for marriage ceremonies, private functions, and school operations instead of activities directly related to cow welfare. Construction of a new building inside the premises is also reportedly underway.

Advocate Munish Kumar Sharma, through a legal notice, has objected to the alleged land use practices and ongoing construction activities. The notice states that activities deviating from the original purpose of the gaushala could eventually lead to misuse of land and institutional irregularities.

People associated with cow welfare organizations have urged the state government, animal husbandry department, and administrative authorities to conduct a high-level and impartial inquiry into the matter. They emphasized that transparency in the use of grants and donations is essential to ensure genuine cow protection and welfare activities.

Major Demands Raised by Activists Include:

Special audit of the last 10 years

Verification of actual cow population and mortality rate

Investigation into the utilization of grants and donation funds

Ban on fodder production using polluted water

Appointment of an administrator if required

Action against illegal construction and commercial activities

Cow welfare activists stated that gaushalas are not only centers of religious faith but also important institutions for animal protection and social service. Therefore, any allegations of irregularities must be investigated fairly and transparently to maintain public trust and preserve the true spirit of cow welfare.
