Sahas Foundation Honours Mothers of Specially-Abled and Meritorious Children on Mother’s Day in Jaipur Unique celebration recognizes motherhood, academic excellence, and social contribution

 


Jaipur: In a heartwarming and inspiring celebration of Mother’s Day, the Sahas Foundation in association with Saraswati Printing Industries organized a unique felicitation ceremony dedicated to mothers of specially-abled and intellectually challenged children, along with mothers of meritorious students. The event highlighted the spirit of motherhood, sacrifice, and encouragement behind every successful child.




The programme was organized under the guidance of organizer Denzil Nezerath, who informed that the event also included the CBSE/RBSE 2026 Toppers Award Ceremony, aimed at motivating students and appreciating the role of mothers in shaping their future.






The ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ritual led by patron Nirmala Jain Bairathi, chief guest Basant Jain Bairathi, educationist Mrs. Rama Dutt, Sabita Nair, Bheem Singh, Sister Arokia, Sanjay Yogi, O.P. Rajpurohit, and nearly 50 mothers present in the auditorium. The event began with a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana, creating a spiritual and emotional atmosphere.















During the programme, distinguished speakers including Mrs. Rama Dutt, Sabita Nair, Sister Arokia, Brahma Kumari Lakshmi Ben, O.P. Rajpurohit, and Shyam Verma shared inspiring thoughts about motherhood, values, compassion, and the importance of nurturing children with love and patience.









Chief guests Basant Jain and Nirmala Jain honoured students and mothers with certificates, medals, and appreciation awards sponsored by the globally recognized ladies purse and gift-item manufacturing company associated with Saraswati Printing. The awards symbolized encouragement and respect for both academic excellence and maternal dedication.











The event was gracefully anchored by Sejal Didwania and Tanu, whose energetic and emotional presentation kept the audience engaged throughout the ceremony.

Several distinguished personalities and guests were also present on the occasion, including Sunita Soni, Shagun Verma, Poonam Das, Sunaina Bari, Kajal Saini, Sarita Soni, Vibhuti Rajawat, Shuddhi Saini, Amita Garg (Director – UpShikshak), Neeru Sharma (Mrs Karnataka), Archana Didwania, Ritu Yadav, Ravindra Yadav and daughter, Juhi from Palace School, who is a 79 gold medal winner, media personality V.B. Jain, Amar Singh from Science Park, Priya Sharma, Sunita, and Mool Singh.





Addressing the gathering, Basant Jain said that in Indian culture, every day is dedicated to motherhood and respect for mothers. However, in modern times, children often move to different states or countries for education and careers, making occasions like Mother’s Day even more emotionally significant.






A special highlight of the event was the launch of the “Jaipur Sahas Gaurav Award”, which was presented to noted social worker Mrs. Damyanti Kanwar Solanki for her remarkable contribution to society.







One of the most emotional moments of the programme came when toppers attended the event with their mothers and personally wished them on Mother’s Day. The interaction reflected the deep emotional bond between mothers and children.

The largest student participation came from Sophia School, which is also celebrating its 100-year anniversary, and Springfield School. Their enthusiastic presence added vibrancy and warmth to the event.

The programme concluded with appreciation for all mothers, teachers, students, and social contributors, making the celebration a memorable tribute to motherhood, education, and human values.
