DICCI Organizes Entrepreneurship Awareness & Vendor Development Program in Alwar, Over 140 Entrepreneurs Participate

 


Alwar, Rajasthan: The Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI), Rajasthan Chapter, in collaboration with the National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, successfully organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness and Special Vendor Development Program (EASVDP) at Hotel mayur, Alwar.



The program aimed to create awareness among SC, ST, women, and young entrepreneurs about entrepreneurship opportunities, government procurement systems, vendor development initiatives, financial assistance, and various central and state government schemes.




The event was led by Devkinandan Godha, President of DICCI Rajasthan Chapter, and Kuldeep Singh Rajput, In-charge of the National SC-ST Hub for Rajasthan, Gujarat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu. Amba Lal Meena, Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Alwar, attended as the Chief Guest.


Addressing the gathering, ADM Abba Lal Meena encouraged entrepreneurs to actively participate in government procurement systems and vendor development programs. He highlighted the crucial role of entrepreneurs in job creation and strengthening the local economy.




The program commenced with participant registration, the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, and a welcome session for guests. During the inaugural session, speakers emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and government support mechanisms available for emerging businesses.

The technical sessions featured experts from government departments, public sector organizations, financial institutions, and procurement agencies who shared valuable insights on various schemes and opportunities.

Interactive Open House Discussion

An interactive Open House session allowed entrepreneurs to raise questions regarding government procurement, GeM registration, vendor registration, bank loans, financial support, and business development. Experts addressed participants’ queries and provided practical guidance.

More than 200 entrepreneurs, MSMEs, SC/ST entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, and aspiring business owners participated in the program. The event was widely appreciated as a significant initiative to promote entrepreneurship and increase the participation of SC/ST entrepreneurs in government procurement.




Speaking on the occasion, Devkinandan Godha stated that DICCI is committed to empowering SC/ST entrepreneurs through policy advocacy, capacity building, vendor development, and market linkages. He reiterated DICCI’s guiding principle:
