Jaipur, June 11: The Jaipur Mizo Christian Fellowship and Mizo Welfare will jointly organize YMA Day 2026 on June 15 at The Westin Farm, Balaji City Road, Bindayaka, Jaipur. The event will begin at 12:00 PM and is expected to bring together members of the Northeastern community residing in Jaipur.
The first session will be chaired by Pu R. Laltlanthanga, while the opening prayer will be led by NL Jennifer R. Lalhriatpuii. A special YMA Day message will be delivered by Pu R. Lalchanchinmawia. The session will also feature special musical performances, discussions on the YMA pledge, and the felicitation of former office bearers.
The second session will include a variety of cultural and recreational activities for children and youth, such as group recitations, musical chair competitions, solo singing performances, lemon-eating contests, nail-hammering competitions, and traditional Mizo dances. A swimming competition and an evening cultural program will also be organized.
One of the major highlights of the event will be the Miss and Mister Jaipur Competition, where participants dressed in traditional Mizo attire will showcase their talent and cultural heritage. Winners will be selected by an appointed panel of judges.
The organizers have also arranged a community feast, with meals being prepared at the venue itself. Community members have been requested to extend their cooperation in making the event a success.
According to Jaipur Mizo Christian Fellowship and Mizo Welfare, the objective of YMA Day 2026 is to promote Mizo culture, strengthen community unity, and encourage social harmony. The organizers have invited all members of the Northeastern community living in Jaipur to participate enthusiastically in the celebrations.
