Jaipur: Shilpi Foundation, Jaipur, celebrated Father's Day with a special event titled "Sapno Ki Udaan Hai Pita" at Hotel Grand Safari, Gopalpura. The event was organized to recognize and honor the sacrifice, dedication, resilience, and inspirational role of fathers in society.
Foundation Patron Sanjay Purohit said that distinguished fathers from diverse fields were honoured with the "Fathers Legacy Award 2026" for their outstanding contributions. The awardees included Dharmendra Chhabra, Rizwan Ejazi, Dr. Hari J. Mangalani, Arun Kimatkar, Ramniwas Choudhary, Surendra Pal Singh Kumawat, Vijay Singh, H.P. Gaur, Dr. Akhil Shukla, Ritvij Gaur, Dr. Mukesh Kalla, Vimal Yadav, and several others.
Event Convener Shilpi Agrawal said that the ceremony was graced by Dr. Archana Sharma, Dr. Sunil Sharma, social worker Pawan Goyal, RAS officer Pankaj Ojha, and RAS officer Muktika Ahskar as Guests of Honour. In their addresses, the dignitaries highlighted the invaluable role of fathers, describing them as the strong foundation of every family whose guidance, values, and sacrifices shape the future of their children.
The event also featured a variety of cultural and creative performances, including dance, singing, poetry recitation, and storytelling, which entertained the audience and added an emotional and inspiring touch to the celebration.
Shilpi Foundation Founder Shilpi Agrawal expressed her gratitude to all the guests, award recipients, and participants. She said that fathers are not only the heads of their families but also the guiding force who help their children turn dreams into reality. She added that the Foundation will continue organizing such initiatives to recognize and celebrate the invaluable contribution of fathers in society.
The programme concluded with a group photograph of the award recipients and guests, followed by a formal vote of thanks.
