The Fashion & Design Department of Apex University hosted its annual student fashion collection showcase, ‘Rang-E-Rajasthan’, in a grand and vibrant setting at Patrika Gate on Sunday evening. The event emerged as a spectacular confluence of fashion, art, culture and youthful creativity, captivating audiences with its rich visual and cultural appeal.
The programme was graced by Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Member Kalicharan Saraf as the chief guest. Appreciating the students’ innovative designs, the dignitaries remarked that such platforms inspire young talent and play a vital role in giving Indian culture a distinct global identity.
The fashion show featured a series of creative and contemporary collections designed by students, beautifully reinterpreting Rajasthan’s traditional art, culture and aesthetic heritage through a modern lens. The collections showcased a seamless blend of contemporary silhouettes, innovative concepts and refined craftsmanship, reflecting the students’ dedication, vision and creative excellence.
The esteemed jury panel included renowned jewellery designer Parul Patanwala, fashion designers Ayush Soni and Shivani Soni, along with IPS officer Sandeep Singh Chauhan.
The jury lauded the students for their originality, contemporary presentation and innovative use of traditional elements. Special guests Dipti Saini, Sudhir Mathur, Farah Ansari and eminent artist Yunus Khimani were also invited and felicitated on the occasion.
Throughout the event, the showcased collections left a lasting impression with their vibrant colours, rich Rajasthani artistry and a strong modern design sensibility.
