Fourth Merit Felicitation Ceremony Organised by Kalal Mahasabha in Jaipur

 

Jaipur.

The Rajasthan Haihayvanshi Kalal Mahasabha, Jaipur organised its fourth Merit Felicitation Ceremony to honour meritorious students of the Kalal community. The programme commenced with floral tributes and worship at the idol of Bhagwan Sahastrabahu Arjun, marking the formal inauguration of the event.



Providing details of the ceremony, Mahasabha General Secretary Uttam Chand Chaudhary said that a total of 58 meritorious students from across the state were honoured for securing 90 percent or more marks in the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations conducted in 2025. Each selected student was felicitated with a cash award of ₹1100, a memento and a certificate of appreciation as a token of encouragement from the Mahasabha.




The event also witnessed active support from social contributors. Golu Jattal and Sheelu Chaudhary arranged transport facilities, Ramswaroop Mewada supported the programme with sweets distribution, Jugal Kishore contributed towards dharamshala arrangements, while Kanchan Hada made arrangements for drinking water tankers.



Mahasabha President Kanhaiya Lal Portha stated that this was the fourth consecutive merit felicitation programme organised by the Mahasabha. He emphasised that every year students of the Kalal community residing in Rajasthan who achieve outstanding results in board examinations are honoured, with the objective of promoting education and academic excellence within the community.


The chief guest of the programme was Mukesh Kalal, senior officer of the Rajasthan Administrative Service and Deputy Secretary at Raj Bhavan. The event was presided over by Kanhaiya Lal Portha, while the stage proceedings were jointly conducted by Uttam Chand Chaudhary and Prakash Mewada Mundara.

During the ceremony, new life members, community elders and social contributors were also honoured for their valuable support. A large number of community members, parents and dignitaries attended the programme, making the ceremony highly successful and inspiring.
