The poster of the National Kickboxing Championship was officially unveiled today at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. The prestigious national-level championship will be held from January 3 to January 6, 2026, at the university campus.
Providing details of the event, Chhotu Ram Dahiya, National President of the Kickboxing Federation of India and an international player, stated that the championship is being organized under the joint auspices of the Freestyle Kickboxing Federation of India, affiliated with the World Freestyle Kickboxing Organization, and the Freestyle Kickboxing Association of Rajasthan.
The poster launch ceremony was attended by several eminent dignitaries, including Prof. N. D. Mathur, President of Vivekananda Global University; Prof. Bhagwana Lulu; Registrar Prof. Dr. Praveen Choudhary; Dean of Students’ Welfare Dr. Pramod Faujdar; Head of the Sports Department Dr. Anita Choudhary; and Vivek Bhardwaj, Secretary of the Rajasthan Kickboxing Association, along with other officials.
Organizers informed that players securing top positions in the championship will be selected for South Asian, Asian, and World Kickboxing Championships. The selected athletes will go on to represent India at upcoming international competitions.
The upcoming championship has generated significant enthusiasm among athletes and sports enthusiasts, with Vivekananda Global University making extensive preparations to host the national sporting event.
