Participates in State-Level Road Safety Campaign Administers Road Safety Pledge to the Public Flags Off Road Safety Awareness Vehicles

 

Jaipur, December 13:

Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma on Saturday participated in the state-level Road Safety Campaign event held at Amar Jawan Jyoti, Janpath, Jaipur. On this occasion, he released posters related to the road safety campaign and administered a road safety pledge to the people, urging them to strictly follow traffic rules and regulations.


Chief Minister Honors Citizens Who Saved Lives in Road Accidents

During the program, the Chief Minister honored citizens who saved the lives of injured persons in road accidents. Appreciating their noble efforts, Shri Sharma encouraged and applauded these life savers for their humanitarian service. Those felicitated included Shri Sandeep Gupta, Shri Nitesh Yadav, Shri Sunil Sirvi, Shri Sanjay Kumar, and Smt. Surta Devi.

Shri Sharma also flagged off road safety awareness vehicles, including 500 auto-rickshaws, which will travel across various areas to spread awareness about road safety among the general public. On the occasion, the Chief Minister distributed helmets to persons with disabilities and ensured the installation of reflective tapes on commercial vehicles to enhance visibility and safety.

The Chief Minister further conveyed the message of road safety by releasing balloons into the air, symbolizing public awareness and collective responsibility.



The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, Member of Parliament Smt. Manju Sharma, MLA Dr. Gopal Sharma, Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas, senior officials from various departments, along with a large number of school and college students and members of the general public.
