27th Vintage and Classic Car Exhibition & Drive Concludes Successfully Around 100 Vintage and Classic Cars Roll Out on Jaipur Roads Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore Presents Awards to Winners




Jaipur, January 25.

The 27th edition of Jaipur’s annual Vintage and Classic Car Exhibition and Drive, organized by the Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club (RASCC), concluded successfully today with an award distribution ceremony held at Taj Jai Mahal Palace.

Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and founder of Titus & Company and the Titus Museum, Diljit Titus, presented awards to the winners.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that owners of vintage and classic cars are true custodians of history. He noted that the large turnout of spectators clearly reflects how such events promote tourism, culture, and heritage. He also appreciated the organizing committee for successfully conducting the event year after year.

Awards were presented in three categories — Vintage, Classic, and Modern Classic.

In the Vintage category, the Concours d’Elegance title was awarded to Diljit Titus for his 1929 Bugatti. The First – Best Maintained European Car award went to The Gem Palace for the 1939 Mercedes-Benz, while the Most Original European Car title was awarded to Aditya Raman for the 1935 Mercedes-Benz. The Best Maintained American Car award was won by Mukesh Agrawal for the 1930 Ford A, while Ghanni Autos received the First – Best Restored American Car award for the 1933 Chevrolet Master Eagle. The Best Restored European Car award was won by Siddharth Singh Kachhawa for the 1932 Humber.

In the Classic and Modern Classic category, the Concours d’Elegance title was won by Gautam Hari Singhania for the 1951 Jaguar XK 120. The First – Best Maintained European Car award went to Meet Badalia for the 1960 Austin Healey, while the First – Best Restored European Car (Raghu Sinha Memorial Trophy) was awarded to Vijeet Singh for the 1961 Mercedes-Benz. The First – Best Maintained American Car award was won by Dr. Samaresh Srivastava for the 1949 Lincoln. Several other titles were also presented.

The cars were judged by chief judge Shrivardhan Kanoria from Kolkata and Adhiraj Singh from Jaipur on parameters such as originality, maintenance, rarity, and provenance.

Earlier in the morning, the drive was flagged off from Taj Jai Mahal Palace. The route passed through Government Hostel, MI Road, Panch Batti, Statue Circle, Ambedkar Circle, Janpath Turn, and Chomu Circle, before concluding back at Taj Jai Mahal Palace. Large crowds gathered along the route to witness the vintage and classic cars in motion.

Notably, around 100 vintage and classic cars from different parts of India, including Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Jaipur, and various cities of Rajasthan, participated in the exhibition.

The ceremony was attended by RASCC Founder President Dayanidhi Kasliwal, Vice President Sudhir Kasliwal, Secretary Avijit Singh Badnore, Deputy Director, Tourism Department Upendra Singh Shekhawat, along with several other dignitaries.
