Jaipur, January 25.

Under the joint initiative of the Nomadic Community Upliftment Trust and Shanti Devi Jan Kalyan Trust, a free pilgrimage to Haridwar was organized for members of the nomadic community. A special bus was flagged off as part of this unique initiative, under which 51 selected beneficiaries from nomadic settlements were sent to Haridwar.

The objective of the pilgrimage is to promote social inclusion and to connect the nomadic community with religious and cultural activities, thereby integrating them into the social mainstream.

Program coordinator Sarveshwar Sharma said that the pilgrimage was conducted under the leadership of Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Metropolitan Coordinator of the Nomadic Community Upliftment Trust. The pilgrimage was organized by Shanti Devi Jan Kalyan Trust Chairman Mukesh Parashar on the occasion of his 25th wedding anniversary.
