The annual function of Poddar Jumbo Kids School was organised today with great enthusiasm. The programme was graced by international Kabaddi player Maharana Pratap and Shri Heeranand Kataria, Vice President of the Indian Wushu Association and recipient of the Guru Vashistha Award, as chief guests.
School Principal Nidhi Bhatt felicitated Shri Heeranand Kataria by presenting him with a bouquet and a sapling. On the occasion, Kataria addressed parents and highlighted the importance of children’s physical health and sports in their overall development. He urged parents to actively encourage their children to participate in sports to maintain good physical fitness.
Kataria said that education and sports are two sides of the same coin and emphasised that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also consistently encouraged parents to involve their children in sports for their physical development.
Principal Nidhi Bhatt welcomed all the parents and guests and expressed gratitude for their presence and support. During the event, students showcased impressive performances in various sports activities, which were appreciated by parents and guests alike.
