Nrityang – Rhythm Rush 2026’ Showcases Art, Energy and Women Empowerment at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women

The Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women (RCEW), Bhankrota campus, Jaipur, hosted a grand national-level dance competition titled “Nrityang – Rhythm Rush 2026” on January 30, 2026. The event witnessed a vibrant confluence of art, energy and women empowerment, with enthusiastic participation from institutions across the country.



A total of 18 teams from various reputed colleges and universities participated in the competition. The participants mesmerised the audience with outstanding performances in classical, folk, contemporary and fusion dance forms. The competition aimed to encourage creativity, confidence, leadership skills and cultural expression among students while promoting the message of women empowerment.




Prominent participating institutions included Hansraj College, Delhi; I.I.D.T. Delhi; VIT Vellore; Manipal University Jaipur; MRIIRS Sonipat; Poornima University Jaipur; MNIT Jaipur; St. Xavier’s College Jaipur; Kirori Mal College Delhi; Miranda House Delhi; Graphic Era University Dehradun; Maharani College Jaipur, along with several other teams from across the country.





The event was organised under the guidance of Dr. Jitendra Singh Foujdar, Chairman, and Dr. Arihant khicha, Director, Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Programme Coordinator basant Jain and was successfully conducted by the organising committee. The presence of chief guests and distinguished guests added grace to the occasion.

The event was graced by Priyanka Goyal of Prakriti Foundation, Vaishnavi Suthar, trainer of the Miss Ethereal Rajasthan Show, Amita Garg from UO Educators, yoga guru Dhaka Ram, and Abhinav Joshi as distinguished guests.


In the competition, ‘Swara’ team from Manipal University, Jaipur secured the first prize and was awarded a cash prize of ₹1,50,000. The second prize went to ‘Gorkha Patan’ team from Graphic Era University, Dehradun, receiving ₹1,00,000, while the third prize was won by ‘B-Design’ team from I.I.D.T., Delhi, which received ₹50,000. In addition, attractive gifts and special awards were also presented to participants.










The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and a vote of thanks, marking the successful completion of a memorable cultural celebration.
