Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Launches India Stone Mart Mobile App, Marking a Historic Digital Initiative for the Stone Industry

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma formally launched the India Stone Mart mobile app in Jaipur, calling it a landmark digital initiative for the stone industry. The app is being described as the first comprehensive digital ecosystem dedicated exclusively to the stone sector.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that digital platforms play a crucial role in empowering traditional industries by providing global visibility and new business opportunities. The India Stone Mart app will help make trade in the stone industry more transparent, efficient and globally connected.

The India Stone Mart mobile app brings together advanced features such as e-stalls, a digital marketplace, business networking, event updates and AI-enabled search on a single platform for the first time. The app is designed to simplify business operations, communication and collaboration for exhibitors, buyers and all industry stakeholders.

The launch event was attended by Stone Mart Convener Natwar Ajmera, National Joint General Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharati Naresh Parikh, National Secretary Anju Singh, former National Treasurer Yogesh Gautam, along with several prominent representatives of the stone industry. All speakers described the initiative as a decisive step towards the future growth of the stone sector.

Through digital e-stalls and AI-based search technology, the app is expected to transform traditional business practices in the stone industry and enable direct engagement with global buyers. This digital platform will further strengthen the international competitiveness of the Indian stone industry.

Notably, India Stone Mart 2026, a four-day international exhibition, is scheduled to be held from February 5 to 8, 2026, at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sitapura. The event will provide a common platform for industries related to natural stones such as marble, granite, sandstone and limestone, along with mining, processing machinery, tools and stone art.

Rajasthan is India’s leading stone-producing state, with millions of people directly and indirectly dependent on the industry for their livelihood. According to the organizing committee, India Stone Mart 2026 will play a significant role in promoting Vocal for Local, Make in India and accelerating industrial development in the state.
