Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Saturday chaired a high-level review meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office to assess the preparations for the 13th edition of India Stonemart 2026. During the meeting, the Chief Minister issued necessary directions regarding event management, international participation, an industry-friendly environment and investment promotion.
The Chief Minister said that India Stonemart is not only an important platform for Rajasthan but also a prestigious international event for the country’s stone industry. He emphasized that the exhibition provides global recognition to the state’s natural resources, technological capabilities and entrepreneurial potential. He directed officials to ensure that the event is organized in accordance with global standards so that investors and buyers from India and abroad have a positive experience.
A detailed presentation was made to the Chief Minister on the preparations completed so far, including exhibition infrastructure, B2B meetings, participation of international delegations, logistics, security arrangements and promotional activities. The Chief Minister laid special emphasis on providing maximum opportunities to startups, MSMEs and local entrepreneurs.
Highlighting the importance of the stone industry in Rajasthan, the Chief Minister said the sector plays a significant role in industrial growth, employment generation and exports. He stressed that India Stonemart 2026 should be developed as an effective platform for investment, innovation and business expansion.
Senior officials from the Chief Minister’s Office, RIICO Managing Director Shivangi Swarnkar, National Joint General Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharati Naresh Pareek, India Stonemart Convener Natwarlal Ajmera, former National Treasurer of Laghu Udyog Bharati Yogesh Gautam, officials from CIDOS and other representatives associated with the event were present at the meeting.
India Stonemart 2026 is scheduled to be held from February 5 to 8, 2026, at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sitapura. The four-day international exhibition will bring together industries related to natural stones, mining, processing machinery, tools and stone art. The event is expected to give a fresh boost to ‘Vocal for Local’, ‘Make in India’ and Rajasthan’s industrial development.
