A grand Civil Felicitation Ceremony was successfully organized today at Radisson City Center, Jaipur, under the joint aegis of Jaipur Citizen Forum (JCF) and Rotary Club Jaipur Kings City.
The ceremony was held to honour senior officers of the Indian Army and the civil administration for the historic and successful organization of the 78th Army Day Parade 2026, which was conducted for the first time in a civilian area in Jaipur.
Rajiv Arora, President of Jaipur Citizen Forum, and Rotarian Anand Agrawal felicitated Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh along with seven senior Army officers for their visionary leadership and exemplary execution of the Army Day Parade in Jaipur.
In addition, three senior civil officials were also honoured for their outstanding coordination and cooperation with the Army:

Addressing the gathering, Rajiv Arora said that such cooperation between the Army and civil society would further strengthen harmony, trust and mutual understanding in the future. He expressed gratitude to the Indian Army for organizing a series of grand Army Day events in Jaipur over the past fortnight.
He also stated that the concept of bringing the Army Day Parade closer to citizens was envisioned by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, which made the event historic and memorable.
The programme also featured captivating performances of Rajasthani folk dance and patriotic Hindi songs, creating a vibrant cultural and nationalistic atmosphere.
Around 40 social organizations, NGOs and institutions participated in the event. The gathering was attended by doctors, engineers, businessmen, social workers and other prominent citizens from various fields.
The vote of thanks was presented by Bhavana Jagwani, Trustee of Jaipur Citizen Forum and Mohan Foundation, an organization actively working towards the noble cause of organ donation.
