Jaipur Provides a New Platform for Rajasthani Films and Artists National Karni Sena Film Festival Organized; 106 Talents Honoured Event Begins with Chirja Stuti of Karni Mata

 


Jaipur, January 31.

In a significant initiative to take Rajasthan’s rich art, culture, and legacy of valor to the big screen, the National Karni Sena organized the National Karni Sena Film Festival Rajasthan in Jaipur. The festival aimed at promoting Rajasthani cinema and providing national-level recognition to local artists and creative talents.





The program commenced with the traditional Chirja Stuti of Karni Mata, symbolizing Rajasthan’s cultural and spiritual heritage. Organizers stated that the festival was conceptualized to showcase regional films and create a strong platform for local talent at the national level.



During the event, a total of 106 artists and contributors were honoured. Awards were presented across 25 categories, including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Singer, Best Producer, Best Film, and Best Director. The festival also featured three rounds of fashion shows, adding glamour to the cultural celebration.



Renowned folk singer Seema Mishra, Bhanwar Ali from Bikaner, and America’s Got Talent fame Sanjay Sagariya delivered captivating performances. The event was graced by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari as the Chief Guest, while actress Bhagyashree also addressed the gathering, motivating young artists and appreciating their creativity.







Several prominent personalities were present on the occasion, including National Karni Sena President Shiv Singh Shekhawat, spiritual leader Aniruddh Acharya, National President of Karni Sena Youth Okendra Rana, Bagru MLA Kailash Verma, J.D. Maheshwari, Pawan Goyal, National Secretary Kuldeep Singh Bhadhwa, National Women President Laxmi Tanwar, National Secretary Narendra Sisodia, Priyanka and Nitin Dubey from Priyanka Events, renowned folk artist Gulabo Sapera, and Padma awardee Pandit Vishva Mohan Bhatt.



Leading the festival, Shiv Singh Shekhawat stated that the objective of Karni Sena goes beyond films. He emphasized that the organization is committed to promoting theatre, folk dance, folk music, painting, literature, and other cultural art forms. Continuous efforts will be made to take Rajasthan’s cultural heritage to national and international platforms.

He further added that steps are being taken to encourage the production of Rajasthani films, prioritize local artists, and provide resources related to film production. Appealing to the state government, Shekhawat urged that local artists should be given priority in regional, national, and international events, films, and cultural programs.

Annual Festival Announced

Shekhawat announced that a national-level festival will be organized every year to bring artists from across the state onto a single platform. This initiative will provide artists with recognition, opportunities for collaboration, and creative exchange. He also informed that dialogue will be initiated with the state government regarding special facilities for Padma award-winning artists.
