Jaipur, January 31.
In a significant initiative to take Rajasthan’s rich art, culture, and legacy of valor to the big screen, the National Karni Sena organized the National Karni Sena Film Festival Rajasthan in Jaipur. The festival aimed at promoting Rajasthani cinema and providing national-level recognition to local artists and creative talents.
The program commenced with the traditional Chirja Stuti of Karni Mata, symbolizing Rajasthan’s cultural and spiritual heritage. Organizers stated that the festival was conceptualized to showcase regional films and create a strong platform for local talent at the national level.
Leading the festival, Shiv Singh Shekhawat stated that the objective of Karni Sena goes beyond films. He emphasized that the organization is committed to promoting theatre, folk dance, folk music, painting, literature, and other cultural art forms. Continuous efforts will be made to take Rajasthan’s cultural heritage to national and international platforms.
He further added that steps are being taken to encourage the production of Rajasthani films, prioritize local artists, and provide resources related to film production. Appealing to the state government, Shekhawat urged that local artists should be given priority in regional, national, and international events, films, and cultural programs.
