National Kick Boxing Championship Begins at Vivekananda Global University

 


Jaipur. The National Kick Boxing Championship was inaugurated today at the Vivekananda Global University (VGU) campus. Former DGP Mr. Ravi Prakash Meharda and IG Mr. Kishan Sahay attended the event as Chief Guests, while VGU President Dr. N. D. Mathur presided over the ceremony.

The National President of the Free Style Kick Boxing Federation of India, Mr. Chhoturam Dahiya, informed that around 200 players from 7 states across the country are participating in the championship. The competition will conclude on January 6. Winners will earn the opportunity to represent India at Asian and World-level kick boxing championships.



Distinguished guests at the inaugural ceremony included Mr. Lalit Maheshwari (Mama), President of Rajasthan Trade Board; Mr. Vinod Jakhad, former President of Rajasthan University and NSUI Rajasthan President; Ms. Ira Boss, President of Yuva Halla Bol; Dr. D.V.S.; Prof. President VGU Dr. Bhagwanlullu; Registrar Dr. Praveen Chaudhary; Dean Student Welfare Dr. Pramod Faujdar; Sports Manager Dr. Anita Chaudhary; DSW Coordinator Dr. Siddharth Arya; and Mr. Satish Kumar, Associate Dean Student Welfare.


During the program, international players Suman Kumawat, Nand Kishore Jakhad, and Krishna Kumar Swami were felicitated for their achievements. National Secretary of the Federation Mr. Danish Pada and State Association President Mr. Kailash Vishwanath Sharma welcomed all players, coaches, referees, and the volunteer team.



The championship marks a significant step in promoting martial arts and sports excellence among youth at the national level.
