The city of Jaipur witnessed a spectacular display of royal heritage on Saturday with the grand inauguration of the 27th Vintage and Classic Car Exhibition, organized by the Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club. The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, who also toured the venue seated in a vintage car, appreciating the remarkable collection on display.
The exhibition features an impressive range of rare and historic vintage and classic cars from India and abroad, attracting a large number of visitors, tourists, and automobile enthusiasts. There was visible excitement and enthusiasm among spectators, especially classic car lovers, who thronged the venue to witness these beautifully preserved automobiles.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said that it felt wonderful to be part of such a unique event. She described vintage cars as an important part of the country’s heritage and praised the efforts taken to preserve and maintain them. She said that hosting such a grand exhibition in Jaipur is a matter of pride for the city and the state.
She further added that the Jaipur Vintage Car Rally and Exhibition, held annually, is well known for its elegant and unique displays. Congratulating the car owners, she said it is commendable that these classic automobiles are still being maintained in excellent condition. The organizers stated that the primary objective of the exhibition is to promote tourism in Rajasthan. Known globally for its rich heritage, Rajasthan’s grandeur is further enhanced by these vintage and classic cars, which add a unique charm to its cultural landscape.
