Seminar and Marathon on “Empowered Daughter – Prosperous India” Held at NIMS University

 


Jaipur:

On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, NIMS University’s School of Business and Department of Mass Communication, in collaboration with the Rajasthan Police, organized a seminar and marathon on the theme “Empowered Daughter – Prosperous India”. The event aimed to raise awareness about the respect, education, safety, and empowerment of girls.


The program was chaired by Rakhi Rathore, State President of the Mahila Morcha, and the Chief Guest was Additional SP Sunita Meena of Rajasthan Police. University Executive Chairman Santosh Nair emphasized that providing equal opportunities, a safe environment, and quality education for girls is the foundation of a prosperous India.

Additional DCP Sunita Meena demonstrated the innovations of the Nirbhaya Squad and conducted a live session on cybercrime prevention and online harassment. She also briefed participants on the Rajasthan Police App for emergency assistance and complaint registration.



Distinguished guest Dr. Meghendra Sharma, Organization Secretary, Vigyan Bharati, highlighted how the New Education Policy integrates modern education with Indian knowledge and cultural values.

Alongside the seminar, students enthusiastically participated in a marathon to spread the message of “Empowered Daughter – Prosperous India.” University faculty, administrative officials, and volunteers from the National Service Scheme were also present at the event.
