Shikhar Kalash and Dharmdhwaja installed at Taranagar Ganesh Temple, 21-Kund Havan today



Jaipur, January 31:

The installation of the Shikhar Kalash and Dharmdhwaja was performed with traditional rituals at the Ganesh Temple in Taranagar, Jhotwara, on Saturday. The religious ceremony was held under the guidance of Mahant Pramendra Nath of Bad Pipli Balaji Dham and witnessed the participation of a large number of devotees.




According to event coordinator Sarveshwar Sharma, the day began with a Kalash Yatra that commenced from the Khatu Shyam Temple in Vrindavan Colony. Thousands of women carrying sacred kalash on their heads participated in the procession and walked to the Ganesh Temple premises. The entire route resonated with devotional songs and chants, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The procession was received at the temple by Mahant Pankaj Sharma along with office bearers of the Ganesh Temple Trust.






During the programme, Trust President Shankar Singh Manohar, Secretary Vinod Kumar and Treasurer Shailendra Sharma supervised the arrangements. Special arrangements related to entry management, drinking water and other essential facilities were made to ensure the convenience and safety of devotees. The temple premises and surrounding areas were specially decorated for the occasion.



As part of the series of religious events, a 21-Kund Havan will be organised at the temple premises on Sunday. The havan will be conducted under the leadership of Pandit Brijmohan Mishra. A large community feast (Bhandara) will also be organised for devotees after the havan.



The overall arrangements of the event are being coordinated by Kishor Singh Gothda. Temple authorities and volunteers paid special attention to crowd management and discipline throughout the programme.

Due to the religious celebrations, there was a steady movement of devotees in Taranagar and adjoining areas throughout the day. Local residents also actively participated in the event. According to temple authorities, additional arrangements have been made to facilitate devotees during the upcoming rituals.
