Jaipur, April 12 (Sunday) — The first grand audition of the 28th edition of Miss Rajasthan 2026, one of the biggest and most प्रतिष्ठित beauty pageants of Rajasthan, was आयोजित in Jaipur in a grand manner. More than 1200 participants from across the state took part in the auditions, including girls not only from big cities but also from small towns, villages and remote areas.
Miss Rajasthan Director Ekta Jain said that this year witnessed a record number of participants, reflecting the popularity and credibility of the platform. She added that the pageant is now giving opportunities not only to girls from big cities but also to talented girls from rural areas to fulfill their dreams.
The jury panel included Nimisha Mishra, Jasmine Rana, Twinkle Purohit, Meenakshi, Rishita, Heena Thakur, Aditi Sharma, Aura Virmani, Disha Bhatt, Aditi Brahmbhatt and Harshika Batra, who evaluated the contestants.
Organizers Yogesh Mishra and Nimisha Mishra stated that after the second audition, an interview round of 100 participants will be conducted, from which 28 finalists will be selected for the grand finale.
The selected 28 finalists will undergo one month of free grooming sessions, including personality development, ramp walk training, communication skills and insights into the fashion industry. They will also be prepared for national and international level competitions.
Strong energy and excitement among participants
A remarkable level of enthusiasm and passion was witnessed among the participants during the auditions in Jaipur. Girls from across the state shared their experiences and expressed that this platform is not just a competition, but a big opportunity to achieve their dreams.
The participants appeared highly confident and passionate. All contestants were seen extremely excited about the competition and fully focused on their goals.
Participants’ Voices
Deepanshi Tiwari shared that she is originally from Beawar, Rajasthan, brought up in Gujarat and currently residing in Jaipur. She is a professional architect and model who believes in balancing creativity and confidence in everything she does. She completed her architecture from CODE, Vivekananda Global University. She loves learning new skills and aims to create a better and sustainable future through design, while inspiring girls from small towns to dream big.
Milli Jakhar said she is 23 years old and belongs to Neem Ka Thana, Sikar. She is currently pursuing MSc from Bhawani Niketan in Jaipur. This is her fourth attempt at Miss Rajasthan, and the journey has taught her patience, confidence and self-belief.
Srishti Dubey from Jaipur said she is currently working in an IT company. During her college days, she actively participated in modeling events, won several titles and was crowned Miss CS
which helped shape her confidence and personality. Her hobbies include dancing and modeling.
Sahej Kaur from Bhilwara shared that she aspires to become a Company Secretary. Dancing is her passion, and badminton brings discipline and balance to her life. She described resilience as her biggest strength, stating that despite stepping away from her childhood dream of modeling due to family circumstances, she never gave up and is now reclaiming her dream.
Rishika from Jaipur said she has been active in this field for the past three years and is currently working as a cabin crew. Her profession has taught her discipline and confidence. She aims to win Miss Rajasthan and represent the state at national and international levels.
Kritika from Jaipur said she is a confident and ambitious individual with interests in fashion, media and digital marketing. She believes true beauty lies in confidence and mindset, and sees Miss Rajasthan as a platform to present her personality and strength.
my name is Anmol Kanwar.I am 18 years old and I come from Jaipur.I am here for the Miss Rajasthan 2026 auditions, and I am fully prepared to give my best as I move closer to achieving my dream.
My dream is to represent Rajasthan at the national level and make my state proud.
I am passionate about modeling, as it allows me to express myself while continuously working on my confidence and personality.
I am also an NCC cadet, which has taught me discipline, confidence, and how to carry myself with grace.
I have completed my Bachelor of Arts, and I strongly believe that improving myself every day is the true path to success.
Nikita Soni shared that she is 20 years old and passionate about becoming a professional model. She was brought up in Kathmandu, Nepal, though her roots are from Rajasthan. She is a multi-talented personality — dancer, yogi, artist, choreographer, anchor, model and actor — and is also pursuing pharmacy from Apex University.
In the final round, one among the 28 finalists will be crowned Miss Rajasthan 2026. According to the organizers, this beauty pageant has become a strong platform for building a career in the fashion and glamour industry, helping girls from small towns and rural areas fulfill their dreams.
The event was attended by several dignitaries including Pawan Goyal, Mudit Sharma, Alok Sharma, Mukesh Mathur, Jyoti Khandelwal, Sandeep Jain, Vasu Jain, Darpan Kumar, Raghav Goyal, Saumyata Mishra, Rishabh Sharma and Arshad Hussain.
Organizers also mentioned that with changing times, the interest of girls in the fashion and glamour industry is continuously increasing, along with strong support from parents. This is the reason why the number of participants in auditions is growing every year.
