England seal series 4–1 with 9-wicket win over India in 5th Mixed Disability T20I

Jaipur (Rajasthan), February 6, 2026:

England capped off a dominant campaign with a commanding nine-wicket victory over India in the fifth and final Mixed Disability T20I in Jaipur on Friday, sealing the five-match series 4–1.

Batting first, India failed to find momentum and were bowled out for 125 in 19.2 overs. The hosts suffered early setbacks, losing Wasim Iqbal cheaply. Akash Singh top-scored for India with a fighting 51 off 43 balls, including four fours and two sixes.

Captain Ravindra Sante chipped in with a brisk 33 off 26 deliveries in an attempt to steady the innings during the middle overs. However, England’s disciplined bowling attack kept the pressure on throughout, never allowing India to recover.

Farooq Mohammad and Liam O’Brien bowled effectively to break partnerships at regular intervals, while the Indian lower order offered little resistance, restricting the hosts to a below-par total.

In reply, England cruised to victory, chasing down the target in just 12.4 overs to finish on 128 for 1. Opener Jon Gale anchored the innings with a composed unbeaten 53 off 36 balls.

Wicketkeeper-batter Angus Garant Brown played a match-winning knock, scoring 62 off 34 balls with five fours and five sixes, putting the Indian bowlers under sustained pressure. India managed only one breakthrough when Brown was dismissed at 102.

Josh Price remained unbeaten as England crossed the finish line with more than seven overs to spare.

England’s emphatic victory underlined their dominance throughout the series, as they outplayed India in all departments to clinch the Mixed Disability T20I series 4–1.
