Jaipur, 4 February – The sixth Tirthankar of Jainism, Lord Padmaprabhu, will be celebrated with devotion on Thursday, 5 February, on the occasion of his Moksha Kalyanak at the world-renowned Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra Padampura (Bada), which houses his miraculous subterranean idol and a magnificent Jain temple. Devotees from across the region are expected to attend the celebrations in large numbers.
The ceremonies will be conducted under the guidance of Jahajpur Pranetri Bharat Gaurav Ganini Aryika 105 Swastibhooshan Mataji and her sangh. Speaking at a press conference, Advocate Sudhir Jain (Dausa), President of the temple committee, and Honorary Minister Advocate Hemant Sogani informed that the celebrations will include several sacred rituals and attract a large gathering of devotees.
The program will begin at 7:00 AM with the Abhishek (ritual bath) of the principal deity accompanied by the chanting of mantras. This will be followed by Shantidhara, a ritual prayer for universal peace, happiness, and prosperity.
From 7:30 AM, a musical Nirvana Puja will be performed, followed by the offering of the symbolic Nirvana Ladoo at 8:15 AM, amidst devotional hymns and cheers.
Furthermore, as informed by the committee treasurer Raj Kumar Kothyari, the Panchamrit Abhishek of the Khadgasana idol of Lord Padmaprabhu will take place at 10:15 AM, allowing devotees to actively participate in this sacred ceremony.
The committee has urged all devotees to attend the celebrations and seek blessings on this auspicious occasion of Lord Padmaprabhu’s Moksha Kalyanak.
