Jaipur, February 6:
Former England cricket captain Kevin Pietersen–backed premium spirits company Ardent Alcobev, in partnership with Rajasthan Liquor Ltd. (RLL), on Thursday unveiled its expanded Bottled-in-Origin (BIO) spirits portfolio at a launch event held in Jaipur.
The newly launched portfolio includes Dram Bell Blended Scotch Whisky from Scotland, along with Russian spirits Glacir Premium Vodka and Gin Soak Premium Dry Gin, which is being introduced as India’s first Russian gin. The launch underlines Ardent Alcobev’s strategy of combining authentic global craftsmanship with India’s established manufacturing and distribution ecosystem, supported by Rajasthan Liquor Ltd.
Following the successful performance of Dram Bell Scotch Whisky in western markets, Ardent’s entry into the vodka and gin categories marks a strategic expansion aimed at building a diversified premium portfolio while remaining accessible to India’s growing base of aspirational consumers.
All products under the portfolio are distilled and bottled in their countries of origin, ensuring authenticity and international quality standards. Dram Bell Scotch Whisky reflects traditional Scotch blending expertise from Scotland, while Glacir Vodka is crafted using the pristine waters of Lake Baikal in Siberia. Gin Soak Premium Dry Gin features botanicals sourced from Russia’s Altai Highlands and follows a distinctive twice-soaked botanical distillation process.
Dram Bell Blended Scotch Whisky is available in two variants.
The Dram Bell Premium Collection (₹1,500 for 700 ml), bottled in Scotland, offers smooth notes of honey, chocolate and cooked apple, with a palate of caramel, toasted pecan and fudge.
The Dram Bell Reserve Collection (₹1,840 for 700 ml), aged for five years and matured in selected American oak casks, delivers aromas of spiced fruits and nutty sweetness, followed by a palate of stewed fruit, gentle cake spices and a chocolate finish. The Reserve is being positioned as India’s first 5-year-old Scotch whisky.
Debashish Shyam, Co-Founder of Ardent Alcobev, said the company’s expansion into vodka and gin across North Indian markets reflects its focus on consistent quality across categories. He added that Delhi-NCR and Rajasthan are key markets for reaching aspirational consumers, particularly IMFL drinkers looking to upgrade to premium international offerings.
A spokesperson from Rajasthan Liquor Ltd. stated that the partnership aligns with the company’s vision of supporting internationally benchmarked premium brands while leveraging its manufacturing and distribution strengths.
Ardent Alcobev aims to serve India’s aspirational middle class by offering world-class spirits at accessible price points. The newly launched portfolio will be available across Delhi-NCR and Rajasthan through select premium retail outlets.
