Global Health and Wellness Festival 2026 Begins in Jaipur with 5 World Records on Day One

 



Jaipur, February 28: The mega health conclave, Global Health and Wellness Festival 2026 (GHWF) 2026, commenced today at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, with a strong focus on health awareness, preventive healthcare, and public participation. Organized under the theme “Local to Global,” the festival drew significant attention on its opening day with the creation of five world records.

Founder Himmat Singh Nathawat stated that the festival, led by Just Health and Wellness (JHW), was formally inaugurated by Jagdish Chandra Katil, CEO of First India News Channel. The event witnessed the presence of prominent dignitaries including Rajeev Arora, Arindam Sinha (Zonal Head, Care Health Insurance), Suresh Agarwal (Forty President), Raju Mangodivala, Ayush Kogta (Kogta Foundation), Dr. Sitaram Gupta (Founder, Gaumaya), R.K. Gupta (President, Rajasthan Chapter, PHD Chamber), the Facility Director of Narayana Hospital, Balwinder Singh Walia, and Major General Lachhadi, among others.


Five World Records Achieved

According to World Record representative Yogesh Mittal, five major records were registered on the first day under the joint initiative of Just Health and Wellness and Gaumaya:

2,600 Surya Namaskars performed by 26 yoga practitioners.

Participation of over 1,000 senior citizens in a talk show on healthy, disease-free living without medication.

More than 100 corporate representatives gathering under one roof for sessions on work-life balance and stress management.

Establishment of the world’s first organ donor memorial in Jaipur.

The highest number of people taking an organ donation pledge within one minute.

Expert Sessions and Health Talks

Dr. Sitaram Gupta addressed the issue of global warming and emphasized the need for collective efforts toward achieving net-zero emissions. Dr. P.M. Bhardwaj spoke on “The Purpose of Human Life,” highlighting spiritual balance, health, and positive thinking. Dr. Raja Mukim stressed that a healthy lifestyle, balanced diet, and natural practices can help individuals lead disease-free lives.







The featured medical session, “Heart and Hope – The Beat of Life,” included renowned specialists Dr. Devendra Kumar Shrimali (Cardiologist), Dr. Prashant Mahaveer Pedia (Cardiologist), Dr. Rohit Swami (Medical Oncologist), and Dr. Pamarin Goyal (Radiologist), moderated by Dr. Avinash Saini. Experts shared valuable insights on heart health, cancer awareness, and preventive care.

The session “Healing Without Fear” addressed misconceptions surrounding surgeries, emphasizing that modern technologies have made many procedures safer and minimally invasive.

The “Life Beyond Work – Heart & Humanity Conclave” and “Code Red Ready Talk Show” brought together healthcare leaders and professionals to discuss emergency preparedness, corporate responsibility, hospital management, and life-saving readiness. Dr. Anshul Patodia conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) training session, educating participants on CPR and emergency response techniques.

The “Gift of Life” talk show focused on organ donation awareness, covering legal, medical, and ethical aspects of organ transplantation.

Representatives from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT) and other institutions were also felicitated during the event.

Alongside expert sessions, the festival featured health check-up camps, medical exhibitions, BLS training, and organ donation awareness initiatives. Organizers stated that entry to the festival is free, and every registered participant is being provided with a healthcare benefit booklet worth approximately ₹15,000, enabling access to medical services at associated hospitals throughout the year.

The organizers described GHWF 2026 as a significant step toward transforming health awareness into a mass movement.
