Jaipur: A three-day Chadar Mahotsav and Dada Guru Ektisa Path will be आयोजित in Jaisalmer from March 6 to 8, 2026. The grand spiritual gathering will be inaugurated by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.
The highlight of the event will be a historic global resolution on March 7, when 10.8 million (1 crore 8 lakh) devotees across the world will collectively recite the Dada Guru Ektisa Path at a designated time, creating a synchronized wave of spiritual devotion worldwide.
The event is being organized under the aegis of the Dada Gurudev Shri Jindattsuri Chadar Mahotsav Committee in the sacred presence of Gachchhadhipati Acharya Shri Jinmaniprabha Suri Ji. The inspiration behind the mega event is Pujya Acharya Shri Jinmanojna Sagar Ji. The committee is chaired by Maharashtra Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, with Tejraj Golecha serving as Convener. Representatives from various socio-cultural and spiritual organizations are expected to participate, along with nearly 400 saints from different traditions. Around 20,000 devotees are expected to attend the three-day event in Jaisalmer.
First-Ever Ritual Abhishek After 871 Years
According to the organizers, for the first time in 871 years, a formal Abhishek (ritual consecration) of the sacred Chadar of Dada Gurudev Shri Jindattsuri will be performed. Prior to the ceremony, a grand procession will carry the Chadar from Jaisalmer Fort to the main venue. On March 8, Upadhyay Mahendrasagar Maharaj will be conferred with the title of Acharya.
Key Highlights of the Three-Day Event
March 6: The festival will begin with the ceremonial arrival of revered Acharyas and saints, followed by a religious assembly attended by Mohan Bhagwat. A commemorative coin and special postal stamp will also be released. A live theatrical presentation based on the life of Dada Gurudev will be staged in the evening.
March 7: A grand Chadar procession will begin from the fort, followed by the global collective recitation of the Dada Guru Ektisa Path. Ritual Abhishek and worship ceremonies will be conducted, along with a devotional cultural evening.
March 8: The Acharya Pad ceremony and Ganini Pad ceremony will take place, along with the distribution of sacred Chadar offerings.
Massive Preparations Underway
Large dome tents have been under construction for over a month at the Dedansar Ground in Jaisalmer to accommodate the gathering. A special exhibition and museum are also being prepared for the occasion. Organizers stated that the sacred Chadar, preserved at the fort, remains a central symbol of faith and devotion for followers.
National Scholarly Conference
On March 7 and 8, a national seminar on the theme “Contribution of the Dada Guru Tradition to India’s Cultural Unity, Social Harmony and Integration” will be held. Academic institutions including University of Rajasthan and Jai Narain Vyas University will participate as knowledge partners.
Organizers described the event as not merely a religious ritual, but a global spiritual movement aimed at promoting unity, faith, and collective consciousness.
