Jaipur, March 30. The Jewellers Association Jaipur successfully concluded the Jewellers Association Premier League (JAPL) Season 2 with an exciting finale at S.J. Public School. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation and thrilling matches over two days.
A total of 18 matches were played on the first day, followed by 12 matches on the second day. Teams including Gems by VCL, Dhurandhar Jewels by Sephora, Legend United, and Khatoria Super Kings advanced to the semifinals after impressive performances.
In the final match, Khatoria Super Kings faced Dhurandhar Jewels by Sephora in a high-energy contest. Khatoria Super Kings emerged as the champions, while Dhurandhar Jewels by Sephora finished as the runners-up. Both teams were awarded trophies and prizes. Individual honors such as Man of the Series, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, and Best Emerging Player were also presented.
Association President Alok Saunkhia stated that a “Man of the Match” award was given in every league game. On the concluding day, two friendly matches for youth were organized, along with matches between teams of association committee members, former presidents, and former secretaries.
JAY Coordinator Govind Kumar Gupta highlighted that the primary objective of organizing such events, especially cricket leagues, is to strengthen bonding and interaction among young jewellers in the era of social media. He added that more than 400 new young members have joined the association during this session.
