Jaipur, March 29. The Jewellers Association Jaipur successfully concluded the Jewellers Association Premier League (JAPL) Season 2 on Sunday at S.J. Public School, marking the end of an exciting cricket tournament featuring members of the jewellery community.
A total of 18 matches were played on Friday, followed by 12 matches on Saturday. Teams including Gems by VCL, Dhurandhar, Legend United, and Khatoria Super Kings delivered impressive performances to secure their spots in the semifinals. In the final stage, Dhurandhar Jewels by Sephora and Khatoria Super Kings emerged as the leading teams.
Association President Alok Saunkhia stated that a “Man of the Match” award was presented in each league game. On the concluding day, two friendly matches for youth were also organized, along with a special match between teams of association committee members, former presidents, and former secretaries.
JAY Coordinator Govind Kumar Gupta highlighted that the primary objective of organizing such events, especially cricket leagues, is to strengthen bonding and interaction among young jewellers in the era of social media. He also informed that more than 400 new young members have joined the association during this session.
The winners and runners-up of the final match were awarded cash prizes and trophies.
