The Tax Bar Association (Regd.) Rajasthan Holds Oath-Taking Ceremony and Holi Get-Together

 


Jaipur: The Tax Bar Association (Registered), Rajasthan organized the oath-taking ceremony of its newly elected office bearers along with a Holi get-together at Hotel Park Prime, Jaipur, in a dignified atmosphere. The event witnessed the notable presence of tax advocates and distinguished guests from across the state.

The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Harphool Singh Yadav, IAS. Dr. Diva Mehta, Additional Commissioner, SGST, Rajasthan, attended as the Guest of Honour, while Mr. Parag Singhal, Chief Editor – Kar Jankari, Agra, graced the occasion as a Special Guest. All guests were accorded a traditional welcome by the association.

On this occasion, the newly elected office bearers and executive members of the association were administered the oath of office and secrecy. The President, Advocate Dr. Umrao Singh Yadav; General Secretary, Advocate Dr. Ram Chandra Yadav; Vice President Mr. Ganesh Kumar Sharma; Treasurer Dr. Vishnu Bhardwaj; Joint Secretaries Mr. B.L. Jain and Mr. Pawan Gautam, along with other office bearers and executive members, took the oath.

The program was chaired by senior advocate Mr. Shankar Poddar, while it was anchored by Advocate Tanuj Agrawal.




In his welcome address, Association President Dr. Umrao Singh Yadav extended a warm welcome to all guests, advocates, and members. He stated that the association will continue to work at the state level to safeguard the interests of tax advocates and enhance their professional skills in matters related to tax laws.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Mr. Harphool Singh Yadav, IAS, highlighted the crucial role of tax advocates, stating that they play a significant part in the smooth implementation of the tax system. He appreciated the association for organizing the event and extended his best wishes to the newly elected office bearers.


Other distinguished guests also appreciated the work of the association and shared their views on the challenges faced by tax advocates in the current taxation system along with possible solutions.

On the occasion, Advocate Tanuj Agrawal, as a speaker, provided detailed insights into the provisions, legal nuances, and practical importance of the GST Appellate Tribunal. His address was found highly informative by the attending advocates.


The event was also attended by office bearers of the Rajasthan High Court Bar Association, Jaipur, and The Bar Association, Jaipur, along with several eminent advocates. The program concluded with a Holi get-together, where members participated in a spirit of harmony and extended festive greetings to each other.



In the end, General Secretary Advocate Dr. Ram Chandra Yadav expressed gratitude to all guests, advocates, and members for their presence and thanked everyone for making the event a success.
