Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Law Lecture आयोजित at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Law University

 


Jaipur, April 14: The first Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Law Lecture was organized at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur on Tuesday. The theme of the lecture was “Data, Dignity and Destiny: Rethinking Social Justice in the AI Era,” focusing on evolving dimensions of social justice in the age of technology.

Acting Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma, attended the event as the Chief Guest, while Justice Dinesh Maheshwari (former Judge, Supreme Court of India) delivered the keynote address. The programme was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Mithilesh Kumar Verma.

Around 80 law colleges from across the state participated in the event. In his address, Justice Dinesh Maheshwari emphasized that dignity, equality, and justice form the foundation of society, and preserving these values is crucial in the era of rapid technological advancement. He described social justice as a continuous process that must include every section of society.



Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma, in his remarks, recalled the ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and highlighted the growing role of data and technology in the justice system, while stressing the importance of safeguarding constitutional values.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Mithilesh Kumar Verma welcomed the dignitaries and spoke about Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring contributions, stating that his ideas remain highly relevant in guiding society even today.

Registrar Virendra Kumar Verma proposed the vote of thanks, and the programme concluded with the National Anthem.
