Protest Against Industrial Project at Bhairana Dham, Indefinite Sit-in from April 15

Sambhar–Mokhampura, April 15, 2026: Strong opposition has emerged against the proposed industrial development on the sacred land of Bhairana Dham near Tanka Gaushala on the Sambhar–Narena road. Locals and members of the saint community have stated that industrial expansion at the cost of faith and the environment is unacceptable.

According to the protesters, preparations are underway by RIICO to develop an industrial area on the land, which is home to hundreds of species of trees and thousands of small and large living beings. They alleged that in recent days, thousands of green trees have been cut down in the name of development, causing serious damage to the local ecosystem.

Key Concerns Raised:

Use of religious land for industrial purposes

Large-scale tree cutting leading to environmental imbalance

Ignoring public objections and sentiments

Call for Indefinite Protest:

In protest against the decision, locals have announced an indefinite sit-in starting from April 15 at 10:00 AM on the disputed land near Tanka. Protesters have warned that the agitation will continue until the RIICO land allotment is cancelled and the area is declared protected.

Members of the saint community and local residents have appealed to environmentalists, devotees, and citizens across the country to join the movement. They emphasized that the fight is not just for a piece of land, but for faith, environment, and survival.
