The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) officially launched its Rajasthan Chapter at The Lalit Jaipur, marking a significant step toward deepening Indo–US economic engagement at the state level.
The launch ceremony was attended by Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari as the Chief Guest, while Jonathan Heimer participated as the Guest of Honour. Both emphasized Rajasthan’s growing strategic and commercial importance in strengthening bilateral relations.
Addressing the gathering, Diya Kumari said that IACC has played a vital role in enhancing economic engagement between India and the United States by promoting trade, investment, and strategic partnerships across key sectors. She noted that the launch of the Rajasthan Chapter is a crucial step in extending this collaboration to the state level.
“Rajasthan is on the cusp of rapid growth, supported by strong infrastructure and progressive policies. As we move towards a developed Rajasthan, the launch of the IACC Chapter comes at the right time to boost global partnerships, investments, and business opportunities,” she said.
She further added that the Rajasthan Chapter will serve as a key platform to facilitate trade and investment linkages, promote sectoral collaboration, encourage technology partnerships, and support startups and entrepreneurs in accessing global markets.
Reaffirming the state government’s commitment, she said Rajasthan is focused on building a transparent and investor-friendly ecosystem and strengthening international partnerships. “We see this not just as an economic opportunity, but as a pathway to innovation, job creation, and sustainable growth,” she added.
The event also witnessed participation from industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and policy experts, who described the initiative as a gateway to increased investment and global collaboration for the state.
