Jaipur. The state conference of the Rajasthan Electricity Workers Federation concluded successfully, with several key resolutions passed concerning the public power sector and the welfare of electricity employees. A 53-member state executive committee was also constituted for the upcoming term.
Deependra Singh Chauhan was elected as State President, Govardhan Lal Meena as Working President, and Mukesh Gautam as Senior Vice President. Additionally, Ramswaroop Meena, Abdul Haseeb Alvi, Gajraj Singh, Harilal, R.K. Meena, and Vidyadhar Meena were appointed as Vice Presidents.
Roshan Lal Meena was elected Joint General Secretary, Hariram Mahawar as Treasurer, and Sanjay Meena, Yogita Meena, Pawan Dudi, Shivkant Sharma, Rahat Parvez, K.R. Meena, Ved Prakash Awasthi, Rajesh Kumar Meena, Ankit Kumar, Lala Meena, Balveer Singh, Pradeep Lega, and Santosh Thakur were appointed as Secretaries. In addition, 28 members were inducted into the state executive.
The conference was inaugurated by AITUC National General Secretary Amarjeet Kaur. Former Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court Justice Govind Mathur attended as the Chief Guest and appreciated the federation’s efforts while extending his best wishes for its success.
As a special guest, Mohan Sharma, General Secretary of the All India Federation of Electricity Employees, highlighted concerns regarding the Electricity Amendment Bill. AITUC State President M.L. Yadav and State General Secretary Kunal Rawat also addressed the gathering.
Around 400 electricity employee representatives participated in the conference. The event also featured a cultural performance by Bikaner-based General Secretary and renowned Rajasthani singer-poet Devilal Mahiya, adding vibrancy to the occasion.
