Jaipur’s International Athlete Suman Kumawat Departs for Muaythai World Championship in Malaysia

 



Jaipur: International Muaythai athlete Suman Kumawat from Jaipur has departed for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to participate in the prestigious Muaythai World Championship 2026, being held from June 16 to June 26. Representing India on the global stage, Suman will compete against some of the world's best Muaythai athletes in the championship.

Suman has consistently showcased exceptional talent and dedication in the sport, earning recognition at both national and international levels. Her selection for the Indian contingent is a testament to her hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in martial arts.

A student of Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur, Suman’s achievement has brought pride and excitement to the university community. The university has extended its full support and best wishes as she embarks on this significant international assignment.

Dr. Anita Choudhary, Director of Physical Education at VGU, congratulated Suman and expressed confidence in her abilities. She said that Suman’s journey serves as an inspiration for young athletes and reflects the university’s commitment to promoting sports and nurturing talent.
