Jodhpur: A research-based book titled "Saint Luminaries of the Sargara Community", authored by educationist and researcher Dr. Bharti Panwar, was formally launched by Jodhpur City MLA Atul Bhansali during the concluding ceremony of a seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Gyan Yagya Mahotsav held at the Sargara Samaj Sabha Bhawan in Jodhpur.
Speaking at the event, MLA Atul Bhansali said that a community's identity is rooted in its saints, culture, and rich historical legacy. He praised Dr. Panwar's work, saying the book would serve as an important resource for connecting younger generations with their cultural and spiritual heritage.
Dr. Bharti Panwar said the publication is the first comprehensive documentation of the Sargara community's saints, covering their lives, spiritual teachings, devotional compositions, temples, samadhi sites, Mahant tradition, and contributions to society. She also revealed that several more books on the community's history, folk culture, and saint literature are currently under publication.
The launch ceremony was attended by renowned spiritual leaders, including Acharya Dev Joshi, Rajendra Giri Maharaj, Premnath Maharaj, along with distinguished guests, social leaders, and members of the Sargara community. The event concluded with the honoring of guests and the distribution of Mahaprasad, marking a significant step toward preserving and promoting the community's spiritual and cultural legacy.
