Trophy Launched for the Third Asian Para Throwball Championship 2027

 



Jaipur: The trophy for the Third Asian Para Throwball Championship 2027 was unveiled at a ceremony held in Jaipur on Friday. With the trophy launch, formal preparations for the proposed international para throwball championship to be held in 2027 have officially begun.

World Para Throwball Federation World President Nirmala Rawat said the ceremony was attended by Para Throwball founder Dr. V. Albert Premkumar, Sri Lanka Para Throwball Federation representative N. Ratnayake Ilukkubura, office-bearers of the Rajasthan Para Throwball Association, and Dr. Manoj Kumar, representing Singhania University.

The ceremony was also attended by several dignitaries, including Brajraj Singh Shekhawat, Sivaramakrishnam Raju, Advocate Lalit Sharma, Malti Inamati, B. Srinivasa Kumar, Babu Singarapu, T. Tsering Chokey, Rakesh Yadav, Jashwant Singh, Durgesh Sharma, Mukesh Kanchan and Dharmbir Tak, among others.

Organising Secretaries Ranjit Singh Gurjar and Rukm Singh Gurjar said that the formal preparations for hosting the championship have commenced with the trophy launch.

The proposed championship will provide para athletes with an opportunity to showcase their sporting talent and gain recognition at the international level. The event is expected to bring together para throwball players from across Asia on a common competitive platform.
