With the aim of bringing renewed national attention to the rich cultural identity of Eastern Rajasthan, the Government of Rajasthan is set to present Matsya Festival 2025 on an unprecedented scale this year. Scheduled from 23 to 26 November, this four-day celebration will highlight not only Alwar’s historical heritage, natural landscapes, traditional arts, folk culture, handicrafts, and cuisine—but also mark a significant step toward positioning Eastern Rajasthan on the national cultural map, at par with the iconic festivals of Western Rajasthan.
