A monthly review meeting regarding pending judicial cases was held today at the North Western Railway Headquarters, Jaipur.
According to Mr. Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, during the meeting, Additional General Manager Mr. Ashok Maheshwari expressed concern over the pending contempt cases and directed officials to ensure their early disposal. He instructed that before submitting replies in court, an internal meeting must be held with all concerned officers, Chief Law Assistants, and Railway advocates so that the Railway’s stand is presented before the court with complete facts and accurate details. He also emphasized the need for regular monitoring of pending implementations and instructed that all compliance matters must be completed within the stipulated time.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy General Manager (Law) Mr. Pratul Saroliya presented the monthly progress report of judicial matters and instructed the Chief Law Assistants present to submit replies in judicial cases within the prescribed timelines and ensure timely compliance of court orders to minimize the possibility of contempt. On this occasion, Assistant Personnel Officer (Legal) Mr. Balveer Singh Verma also shared his suggestions for expeditious disposal of judicial cases.
